Welcome Week

Welcome to our Heriot-Watt Sports Union. Throughout the week, we will host club tasters & wellbeing activities for you to get involved with for free! Try new sports & engage with our amazing community across the week.

Come and join the Heriot-Watt Ice Skating Club!

Our taster will be taking place at Murrayfield Ice Arena, off-campus. Please meet us at Oriam reception by 4:45 pm and we will travel from there. Or make your own way there and meet us inside the arena Iceberg cafe. We recommend arriving 15 minutes prior to the start of a session to get the full use of the ice-time.

The session is open to all skill levels, with guidance available for beginners throughout the session. There will be plenty of opportunity to meet club committee & members to ask any questions you may have.

What do I need to bring?

Please wear warm & thick socks, gloves, and comfortable sportswear. We recommend bringing some water. Ice Skates will be provided if needed.
