Mountaineering Come & Try - Outdoor Bouldering…

Come and join the Heriot-Watt Mountaineering Club at our outdoor climbing taster!

We will be going to Gullane beach for an outdoor bouldering session. This will be a greatopportunity for anyone looking to get into outdoor climbing or has experience climbing and wants to find out what trips the club will be offering.

The venue has blocs (climbs) ranging from beginner to intermediate, no climbing experience is required. Open to all levels. The club will provide use of bouldering mats, although we encourage bringing one if you have one. The club also has climbing shoes available to borrow, although availability may be limited.

Please bring extra warm layers as the beach can be chilly in the afternoon, additionally bring some snacks and water as we might be far from a shop.

Meet at 11:45 at the Oriam reception if you have signed up, otherwise feel free to join us at 13:00 at Gullane beach if you are making your own way there.

It will be an afternoon of climbing, and overall beach fun!
