Need to borrow parts for a project? The Robotics Society may have one you can borrow!

We have a wide range of kit, from digital sensors, microcontrollers, motors, and much more!

General Information:

Purchasing this ticket gives access to the Robotics Society Parts Borrowing Service (RobPBS).

One fee covers one user for a full academic year (until May 2025).

Borrowers are subject to the Parts Borrowing Terms set out when borrowing a part!

The fee is implemented to account for potential loss, damage, or replacement of parts.

How does it work?:

Members may borrow parts from the RobPBS database, which is available at the following link: <LINK WILL BE AVAILABLE SHORTLY>

Upon a request being made, a RobSoc committee member will approve the request, and leave the items requested in one of our Drop-Off lockers in GRID FlexLab 1, which are marked with a sticker. You will then be notified when your borrowed items are ready to be picked up! A link will be available in your emails, to let us know you've picked up the items successfully.

When it comes to returning parts, you will be notified before the return date, letting you know when and where to leave the items in a locker again (though if you prefer to hand it to us in-person at a session, ofcourse thats okay!)
