Join David Black, designer of House of Black and Heriot-Watt graduate, in making your own upcycled outfit.
David will share his journey to becoming a Scottish fashion designer after graduating, and give a behind-the-scenes look at some of the sustainable techniques he uses to create his runway collections.
All materials will be provided, and there will be training on the sewing machines for anyone who’s new to sewing — so whether you’re a beginner or more experienced, you’ll be supported throughout.
The workshop will be an opportunity to create your outfit for the RE: WEAR competition on Thursday, 23rd.
